The charming antique furniture and elegant decor gave the hotel character, making it a lovely place to relax in between our adventures.
Could use better soundproofing between rooms.

Can recommend for a temporary stay
Comfortable bed, convenient location, with easy access to Marble Arch underground station just a 10-minute walk away, made my solo stay enjoyable despite some minor issues with the bathroom.
All was perfect.

Convenient Location with Room for Improvement
The location between Baker Street and Marble Arch made it easy to explore central London, and the staff were genuinely friendly and helpful during my stay. the room felt quite basic and in need of refurbishment. the decor was dated, and the amenities could have been better. For the price we paid, I expected a more comfortable experience.

Let's chat about the dining scene nearby – you've got Carousel with fantastic grilled and boiled fish that blew my taste buds away. Plus, Ishtar serves up some mean Middle Eastern bites that'll make your heart sing! The staff here were properly lovely, too, ensuring we were sorted and ready to explore. The location was just mint, right near the heart of all the action.
But hold up! I dropped £165 for a room (room 18) that barely felt worth £70, being generous. The towels looked like they'd seen better days, and on top of that, the internet was on a coffee break. Still, I scored an upgrade to a slightly better room, which felt like a solid 2 stars – all in all, a bit of a rip-off for the price.

Had a blast with friends at this hotel! It's just a short walk to Hyde Park and Regent's Park, making it perfect for our daytime adventures. We could easily explore popular spots like the Sherlock Holmes Museum and Marble Arch. The staff was friendly and helped with local tips. Make sure to note that the rooms are a bit basic, though!
One downside was the lack of soundproofing. we could hear our neighbors clearly. That made for a couple of restless nights, especially on the weekend.

My stay in the Double Room at Opulence was a mixed experience. The location's convenience near Baker Street truly enhanced my visit, yet the loud surroundings occasionally disrupted my relaxation. I appreciated the cleanliness of the room, but noise from adjacent units affected my sleep. I had a lovely time despite some challenges!

Decent staying experience
I had a cozy stay for 3 nights in a twin room. The location is a win—super close to shops and public transport. Room had a kettle and tiny fridge which was handy. Just wish the bathroom door closed properly! They had tables for microwaving food downstairs too.

The location is super good, only a short walk to the tube and close to Baker Street. The staff were really friendly and helped with our bags. The room was decent enough for just one night and the bed was comfy. Plus, it’s a good place if you just need somewhere to crash after exploring. for a quick stay, it wasn’t too bad at all.
The room was kinda dated and really could use some freshening up. the shower didn’t work right, it took ages to get hot water.

Good enough for a solo traveler
The staff were friendly and genuinely cared about our comfort they even offered us extra towels without us asking when they saw we had quite a bit of luggage also I appreciated the decent water pressure in the shower which after a long journey is a small but crucial detail
While the prices were a bit steep for what you get it still sufficed for my needs

Clean room and friendly staff. Stairs very steep, no lift. Great location near Baker Street. Unique decor adds charm, but facilities need refurbishing.
